Metallic Pressure. Working clothes, helmets and boots from mines and steel factories in Ekaterinburg, Russia, hung from a meat hook.

Metallic Pressure is part of a series of multimedia works dealing with subjects and materials such as gold, petroleum and iron meteorites. These materials, which are transformed into commodities reflecting the power of capital and money, carry both the language of desire and that of slavery, to name but two items in their polyglot heritage.
